Support Services

Pre- and Post-Diagnostic Support

Understanding neurodevelopmental differences such as autism or ADHD can feel overwhelming—for individuals and families alike. Whether you are at the very beginning of your journey or adjusting after receiving a diagnosis, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Pre-Diagnostic Support

Before your assessment

You may be noticing differences in behaviour, emotional responses, communication, or attention, and wondering what this means. Seeking clarity can bring both relief and uncertainty.

Our pre-diagnostic support focuses on:

  • Understanding your experiences – exploring strengths, challenges, and patterns
  • Emotional support – providing a safe space to talk through worries or concerns
  • Practical strategies – helping with day-to-day difficulties at home, school, or work
  • Guidance through the diagnostic process – what to expect, how to prepare, and navigating services
  • Support for parents and carers – building confidence and understanding

We aim to reduce anxiety and provide meaningful support, regardless of whether a diagnosis is pursued.

Post-Diagnostic Support

After receiving your diagnosis

Receiving a diagnosis can bring clarity, but it can also raise new questions and emotions. Our post-diagnostic support helps individuals and families make sense of the diagnosis and move forward with confidence.

We offer:

  • Making sense of the diagnosis – understanding what it means for you or your child
  • Emotional processing – space to explore feelings such as relief, grief, or uncertainty
  • Developing self-understanding – recognising strengths, identity, and needs
  • Tailored strategies – practical tools for regulation, communication, and daily life
  • Family support – helping families adapt, connect, and support one another
  • School and system navigation – support with education plans, advocacy, and communication with professionals
