Baseline emissions represent the greenhouse gases produced by an organisation before carbon reduction measures are introduced. They provide the starting point used to measure changes in emissions over time.
ReconnectNow Ltd began measuring and reporting its carbon emissions during the period May 2024 – May 2025, which has therefore been adopted as our baseline year.
Baseline Year: May 2024 – May 2025The period represents the first year that ReconnectNow Ltd measured and reported its carbon footprint. At this stage the organisation had a small staff team and limited operational assets. This baseline will be used to monitor how emissions change as the organisation grows and as carbon reduction measures are introduced.

Since the baseline measurement, ReconnectNow Ltd has begun operating from office premises and introduced additional operational assets. As the organisation continues to grow, including an increase in staff and service delivery, emissions may increase before longer-term reduction measures take effect.

As the organisation grows, including an increase in staff, buildings and operational activity, our total emissions may increase in the short term. Our focus is therefore on reducing emissions where possible through:
Our Carbon Reduction Plan will be reviewed and updated each year to reflect organisational growth and progress in reducing emissions.
Establish a Green Champions programme to encourage staff and service users to take part in sustainability initiatives.
Develop a Sustainable Procurement Framework that prioritises ethical, local and lower-carbon suppliers where possible.
Adopt a digital-first working approach where possible to reduce unnecessary travel for meetings, supervision and training.
Undertake more detailed Scope 3 emissions mapping to better understand supply chain emissions.
Introduce a Green Travel Plan encouraging public transport use, cycling and electric vehicle use where appropriate.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported using the GHG Reporting Protocol Corporate Standard and the appropriate UK Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas reporting.
